Do you have a sump? Why not just throw some Phosar HC in a high flow area....

get the 2 little fishes 150 phosban reactor and just run phosban thru it. use a small mini or micro jet pump. it has a valve on the reactor to adjust flow so you can tune it that way. i use very low flow thru mine for longer reaction period. hth

I use the 2 little fishies phosban reactor, too, and it does a great job. Got it in my sump, and as seagirl says, get a small pump for it. I got a Rio 50 mini for mine, an it works great.

Took my phosphates down to undetectable, but definitely test for phosphates periodically. If you've already got extremely high phosphate levels when you install the reactor, it will reduce them, but the media won't last as long before it's used up.

My first media lasted 2 months before levels began to climb back up to 1ppm in one of my tanks, so I refilled the reactor again. Most say it should last 4-6 months or so.

Hope this helps.

Ditto all that :)

Except I use a T off my return line instead of a dedicated small pump.
