water height for 150-F2001

hello everyone...
i just receive my 150-f2001 "this is my first skimmer" loL
and now i'm building my sump for my 120gal tank...
so what heights of water should the skimmer sit at for the best performance??
is their anything i should be caution before i start like the length and width etc.....

You will need to cover the pump, it usually operates best at approx 5 to 6 inches but performance will depend on the individual tank.
