Milky Ca reactor

I added a diy ca reator to my system 4 months ago. It ran pretty smoothly for 3 months and 2 weeks ago the reactor got quite milky. Turned it off and emptied the water and then it ran fine for about 3 days and now its turned milky again.
I am using ARM media and the effluent PH is at 6.6. Am I running this too acidic and turning the ARM media to mush??

6.6 should be fine for ARM. it sounds like it might really be lower. how long since you last calibrated?

Hmmmm...just did it 3 months ago and it was still spot on so I left it alone. Maybe the calibration fluid was too old. I will get some new fluid and recalibrate. Would too low a PH be the main cause of the milkyness?

Are you running a ph controller on the reactor?
