Need instructions for A150

I bought my A150 used and the previous owner had cobbled on a gate valve. It snapped off yesterday and I started to look at the original set up. It looks like you turn the riser pipe to adjust flow? I dont have the manual... am I on the right track?

The wedge pipe is used for adjusting, along with the skimmer feed. Set the amount of water flowing through the unit to where you want it with the white dots lined up. You can adjust from there.
