Anthia Question

Does anyone know anything about red-bar anthias? I've looking around and haven't found much, but I may of picked this guy up by mistake thinking it was a lyretail. It's picnk and it has this square like patch on both sides that turn bright red occassionally. Any info will help. Thanks

Redbar anthias are hardy and easy to keep IME. I kept a pair in a FO tank many years ago. They are not timid. They can get decent size though. Feed a varied, mostly frozen diet, IMO, and you'll be fine.

I'm becoming less and less of a fan of mixing anthias unless in very large tanks. IME one species ends up looking less than optimal.
