Just a little high but i dont know if that would keep it from opening up or not. Hard to say if he was happy one week and then wont open the next i have never had that prob mine just keeps pinching off new babies left and right but never stays closed

What about current in the tank it may have been standing tall in a tank where it was either reaching for light or to get to more current and may not be needing that in your tank. The polyps are out and it doesnt look bad to me looks rather nice actually. I dotn think it looks bad looks just like mine

Mine will stay open for about a week, then close up and not open for a day, but opens back up after that. It is very healthy though. You could try moving it to a different spot in your tank, but if it's been open and extended before then i would say just give it some time and it should open up on it's own....as it's prob. just adjusting....

Ok thank you all for help.I see what you all said maybe as my tank has better light and food that it is happy small.
The main thing was that I was thinking it was starting to die because it was not big as it was before.
