Hey guys! I just bought a new pair of True Percs from a local LFS. They were labeled as True perculas but im kinda skeptical. Can you look at this pic and tell me what you think. I know the larger one does look like a true, but the smaller one has me kinda questioning, plus he is getting picked on so im not sure if its because of the diff species or just establishing dominance, they have only been in the tank for 4 days.

Thanks

they look like wc percs to me. And I'm pretty sure they are trying to establish dominance. It happens with pretty much all clowns if there's more than one in the tank. Those are some fine looking clowns!

What does the WC stand for? Wild Caught?

WC is wild caught. I don't know how you can tell just from looking, except for that I think most are wild caught unless they are directly from someone like ORA.

They are percula clowns, but there is no way by looking at them to tell if they are wild caught or tank raised.

Hey! its the first ID in a long time I've seen that was not an Occelaris!

100% True Percs.

Thanks! I was kinda worried that the little guy was an Occelaris, but you guys helped put my mind at ease.

Now for the little guys fins, they are looking a little ragged, you can kinda see from the pic on his dorsal fin. And I don't remember it being like that when I picked it up, so I think the bigger one is pickin on him a bit. I know they are trying to establish dominance and what not, so separating them is probably not a good idea, is there anything else I can do to help him heal and improve his color?

I suggest leaving them alone. You wouldn't want to be the third wheel. :D

Thanks, I'll try my best, I hate being the 3rd wheel!
