PC Ballast question

I was looking at a ballast at ballastwise. The diagram showed only two wires connected to the lamp. I'm trying to use this on a 4-pin square. Will this work if I only hook up two wires?

Yes, you just have to wire it correctly for the bulbs you use. for U shaped bulbs you short pins 1&2 and 3&4 and then connect your red to 1&2 and the blue to 3&4. if it's the two single bulbs built together type you short 1&3 and 2&4.

thank you for the info. If I have the 4-pin square and they are two single bulbs, how can i tell which pin 1?

the pins closest to each bulb are either 1&2 or 3&4.
