AC Jr and PH?

Just purchased the unit w/PH probe. I calibrated the PH probe with the 7 and 10 fluids. When I put the probe in the 7 fluid, it read 7.50. When placed in the 10 fluid, it was off too. Is this normal?

Reason I ask is, it's giving me a reading of 6.23 for my tank PH. However, I tested my tank water with a Salifert PH kit and I get a reading of 8.1. :confused:

Please calibrate the probe (again?). The numbers displayed during calibration do not matter, and they will not necessarily read 7.0 and 10.0. After calibration go to the run display of the AquaController, and confirm that the 7.0 and 10.0 cal solutions read correctly. If so, the probe has been successfully calibrated, and should read accurately in the tank.
