Ok so i have had this BTA for about a week and now all of the sudden he is acting all wierd, about half of him is pulled in and there is stringy white/brownish stuff hanging off his tentacles, his mouth is wide open and has been for about a day and a half. He will eat but sometimes he throws it back out an hour or two later.
My params are:

Salinity 1.024
Temp 78
PH 8.3
Amm 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 0
KH 13 dkh
Calcium 540 ppm
Phos 0

I have 260 watts of light with PC. There is a pic at the bottom of the post, sorry not the best pic. Any help at all would be appreciated. I really dont want to lose him. Thanks

He looks a little stressed from acclimation probably. If he he get really pale, you gotta a prob, but he doesn't look all that bad. Mine looked way worse the first few days. Your ALK and CAL are really high too.

I don't think thats a BTA..... That looks mor elike a LTA to me. Sometimes their mouths are open and there is stringy stuff coming out because it is expelling waste. Mine do that for a while, maybe al night, it's quite normal. I dunno if that is enough light though.
