Ok I have some thoughts about adding another jawfish to my 24 gallon but I am worried that I'll have too many fish in my small aqua pod. Right now I only have 1 jawfish and I want our jawfish to have a buddy. I would put him in our 120 but the sand is too fine of a grade for them to dig in. Does anyone think my 24 gallon is too small for two pearly jawfish?

I'm guessing since you said it was an aquapod that the length of the tank isn't that great. Due to this I think that adding another pearly jaw will be tough.

You should consider adding maybe a small goby like a shrimp goby or another small fish like a Geometric hawkfish. The Geo hawk would look great and fit in great with the jawfish.

Thanks for the comment, but I don't think a hawk fish would be a good addition because most of them are known to be a threat to small peaceful fish. I also think a shrimp goby might fight with my jawfish expecially if the shimp goby gets close to my jawfishes home.

I have a pearly in a 12gal nano. I did a lot of research on these before I introduced him. They are known to be alright in pairs if you add them at the same time. It would have to be a completely new home for both for them to get along.
