Question about lots of Chaeto in main display.

I currently don't have a refugium and using lots of chaeto in my display. My question is whether it will cause pH problems at night. From what I understand they release co2 at night. Will it result in very low levels of pH due to it's respiration?

if you have decent water circulation you should be alright

if you are curious, test your pH right when the lights first turn on(or immediately before). that's when it would be the lowest because of that. then test it at lights out to see it at its highest.

if it doesn't swing too low, no worries.
