I'm moving my 58 oceanic soon and would like to change the look a bit. I'd like to see some of interesting/unusual rockscapes for ideas...

Show me your pics!

i dont have pics but can i make a suggestion....... good!

go with a single giant peice of rock with lots of caves and smooth surfaces i have been thinking about a tank with a single rock in it for a while now it would look really nice. and be easy to aquascape :)

True, but finding a big enough rock to be the only rock in a 58, with lots of crevices, caves, etc would be a tough one to pull off. Would make life quite easy though, I'm sure.

An easy solution is to take a couple nice shaped rocks and drill a 1/4" hole through both rocks and attach a piece of fiberglass rod (the kind that driveway reflectors come on). I recently tried this and it works slick. The aquascaping possibilites are endless.

I'm planning a couple of pillars with a canyon in the middle

It might be a little bit boring but what about a small rock shelf with a bunch of frags from 1-3 staghorns to make a nice stand of staghorn coral?

I'm planning to put stags around the edges to create a canyon effect in the middle of the tank...
