if it has a ton of flow and you can keep the water pretty clean for them i would say why not

I heard that! Real flow hogs huh?

I have an OM on a dart.... The tank is pretty turbid.

these fish live in huge surge zones and to give you an idea they like like playing right in the flow of Tunze 6100's lol so they love flow

In addition to the need for high flow, I have found that they seem to have a very high metabolism. Kinda goes hand in hand with the high flow needs. Point is, they alot, and often. Keep em fat and happy.

I have an achilles and i have to second the feed a lot comment. I feed 2 full size sheets of nori a day for only 3 fish (regal angel, foxface and the achilles) as well as frozen mysis, frozen angel food and flake.

They are great fish but I hate mentioning mine on this board because everytime I do there seem to be a rash of people wanting to get one without knowing how to care for them :(

Any compatability ishues with the Achiles Tang and say other tangs or angels or anthias? I also have a 180 with turbid high flow, actually twin 180s.

Hey Scuba, I would say that the Achilles is very aggresive, maybe not as bad as a Sohal, but he can terroize some other tangs. Part of the compatability issues is whether or not they are of the same Genus (which translates into similiar body shape often). For example, after a little scuffle my Achilles and the Kole Tang are fine. However, I believe that if I put him in the other tank with the Powder Blue a bloodbath would ensue.
