Did you add the salt to the mixing container before adding the water?

Yeah that would be my question, did you add the salt before the water, sometimes precipitation can occur and there may be undissolved minerals in the mix

I used a clean plastic pail,I use I/O,And filtered tap water.Where i live the water is great just need to filter out clorine.
My bag of salt had been around for awhile and the mix was a little damp....Could this have been the problem?

how are you filtering the chlorine and how do you check it? i would also be a little leary about the use of the damp IO salt but you know why it is damp not me!

filter out the clorine with a charcoal inline water filter. The salt got damp from sitting in the basement.Im going to leave it til tommorow and if it dosen't clear i'll dump it and buy new salt...
Every thing is going to good in the tank to take a chance....Another trip to the LFS....:D
