I've always heard those are not reef safe. I'm not sure what about them makes it so, but you may want to keep an eye on it.

NOT REEF SAFE!!!

I had one eat everything in my tank about 15 years ago.

My wife was sure she was going to wake up and it would be on my face some night when it ran out of tank mates.

Suggestion - take it back now!

I to believe they are not reef safe. Here is a link the confirms it to a degree. Starfish (http://home2.pacific.net.ph/%7Esweetyummy42/hitchstars.html)

They are not reef safe, but it doesn't sound to me like the OP has a reef anyways. Nothing they listed will be bothered by the star. Keep salinity/temp and other parameters stable for the star, and feed meaty foods every few days.

Yes when it gets too big you can return it to the store for credit. It is not reef safe. And I have never wanted to keep one.

I'm sorry this will sound mean but: You should have researched before you bought it.

Oh yeah, I still would like to know what 2 live rock means. 2 pounds or 2 pieces?

Sorry I just found your other post. Looks like u did ask around a little.
FWIW My Diamond Goby does a great jod at sifting my sand.

Your Chocolate Chip Sarfish should find some food in your tank if it has been established for atleast a few months. IMO 1 year is better.
