I tried using this method for making baffles using glass instead of acrylic. I couldn't get the baffle to stay in place, the flow through the sump kept knocking it over. Anyone have any suggestions? i do have a lot of flow through the sump right now but have no way of slowing it down at the moment, and siliconing them in isn't really an option cause the tank is already up and running.

what if you make the baffle assembly all one piece (connect the baffles together with a spacer) and then have the assembly fit in. The extra width should make it more secure...

I had a similar problem. I only have one baffle just to keep the skimmer level consistent so it was a simple solution for me. i just made a brace out of PVC. Works great for me.

hmmm. I like both ideas, i can slide a piece of 1" pvc between each baffle to keep the spacing even, then brace the last one to the edge of the tank. I'll give it a try, thanks.
