i'm guessing that you're referring to the feather duster since they're more common and not named in the picture...they're pretty cool if you ask me...and they help keep your water clean.

Halimeda plant, its good.

Halimeda sp. is a type of macro algae, many people grow in their sumps. its not going to hurt anything, but it will need to be pruned.
