View Full Version : New Pipefish Tank!
Ok, So I was thinking about setting up a new system. What I want to do is get a 15g display, with a 10-15g fuge that will also be on display. I will also have a 10g sump. I know I will have a skimmer, and a Calcium reactor... and those are about the only real decisions I have made so far, but I want to know if I would be able to keep a small species of pipe fish in the fuge. The whole system will be about 40g, and the fuge will be well stocked with macros. Are these conditions suitable for pipefish? If so, how many, and what species? Thanks in advance for all your help.

gotta give everyone sometime, especially when it comes to pipefish not that many people seem to really know much. Are you just asking if you could keep a pipefish in the fuge? If so i think you could seeing as many people keep them in nano setups. I think blue striped pipefish could? I'm not sure though.
Thanks, I do want pipe fish in the fuge, I was just concerned about swim space.

what are the dimensions?
The dimensions of the fuge are going to be 15wx12h(?)x15d. Its going to be custom, so i might change them later, but thats going what Im thinking for right now.
