Banggai Cardinal ?

How many of you have just one Banggai Cardinal in your tank? and for how long has it been solo (without another cardinal )?

The reason I ask is I have had a few pairs and when one goes (dies) the other mopes into a cave and basically mourns the other until I get it a buddy again or it will pass along as well. happen to anyone else ?

You might try to find a breeding pair. I think that's where you'll have the most luck. I've got 3 pajamas...one breeding pair and one outsider. The outsider takes some aggression from the other male but nothing too severe yet.

I have had 3 for about 4 months - there are no breeding pairs, but they all seem to be doing well.

There seems to be just a little chasing at night when my night lights are on - there has never been any fin damage. And during they day they are always within 6-8 inches of each other.
