Hi everyone,
Well, I'm trying to figure out the best way to run carbon and phosban in your sump. I have a sump/refugium. I have stuck it in between baffles before, I also have used a filter sock and stuck it around my outcoming drain into my sump. Is there a certain way that works best? I would believe if a person just stuck it in their sump and it was constantly submerged, it might not be as effective?! Maybe? I'd like to know how you all run your media. This is for my LPS, SPS, Clam tank. TY

i run my media through phosban reactors. I have 2 one for carbon and one for phosban

I agree, phosban reactors are the best bet. Canister filters work also. Just placing it in a high flow area in the sump will work, but its nowhere near as effective as the reactors.
