Hi all.

Long story short, I am going to either stick with a 120g tank (which is what I currently have), or I may go as large as 180g. What I need to know is wether or not I should look at upgrading my lights as well. I currently have 2x250w HQI and 2x96w PC(http://www.hamiltontechnology.com/shop/?shop=1&cart=224626&match_criteria=&rec=&keywords=5%5C%27+PROTOSTAR+2+-+250+WATT+10%2C000K+HQI+%26+2+COMPACT+&)

Is this sufficient for keeping SPS long term? In all likelyhood, I will stick with a 120g tank... which means that I will have a depth of about 24"... so would it really be nescessary to upgrade? Can someone please provide some insight? If im gonna need to upgrade eventually, now is as good a time as any. Any feedbacl is appreciated. In case the link doesnt work, the fixture I have is the 5' hamilton tech protostar 2x 250w HQI DE (14k) and 2 96w PC (Pure acintic). Thanks!

The 180 is 6' long. You would need 3 MH if you went that route.
