other than a good scrubbing is there anything speical that I have to do to a salt tank to use it as a FW tank?

Free tanks....

Meaning no filters, lights, heater, hoods, stands, fish or gravel.

Also, I Live on the top floor of a loft in Lynn, MA that is a lot of stairs and these tanks are not light, I know I carried them up I will not carry them down so bring a friend to help you.

55gallon

75gallon(this one will have to wait till I transfer my fish to another tank)

120gallon—This is an old 1970’s slate bottom tank with stainless steel trim. This tank has been drilled on the bottom for over flow, and *****!!!!this tank has a leak!!!!**** I am sure if you know fish tanks you can reseal it, I just don’t have the time nor patience to do it

Nope - just clean it out well. A little salt in a FW tank won't hurt anything - but alot of salt will.

the building is over 300 years old, it use to be a shoe factory, I have pictures of it with a ton machinery, i think it can support a little fish tank....
