Oh no...
Do you have a quarantine tank?
Where did they come from?

Do yourself a favor and post in the Zoanthid forum.

I'll do that.I was hoping you guys new what to do.
I don't have a QT but even if I did, I'm affraid the tankwould be infested.I have alot of rockwork and everything is placed just so.
Do you think a dragonette might consume them?

I don't think anything eats them.
You may have to lugol dip them.
Of all of the zoanthid pests, that is one I have not had before. Knock on wood!

But from spending years in the zoa forum, from what I remember, people fresh water dip and lugos dip to get rid of them. It's hard work, but you should be able to erradicate them.

Good luck soldier.

Eew, nudis!
Same approach. Dip dip dip.
You'll need lugols and some RO that is up to temp and ph.
Or just tank water in a cup with strong lugols. You'll also want to scrub the outside of the zoas with a soft toothbrush to remove the egg sacks. Then rinse in a separate container of just tank water.

Discard the water afterwards.

It might take you a while, it's not easy to kill them off, but it can be done.

Hey Jim - sorry to hear!

RJ...just how much Lugols do you suggest that you'd consider 'stong'?
