I have added a pair of ORA clowns to my approx. 4 month old tank. I would like to add a possible host for them and I understand that a BTA is a favorite choice do to hardiness.
What are your thoughts? Is the tank mature enough? Is there a better choice for a newbie? Is there a anemone that would make a better host?

good choice but not now. your tank really needs to mature. I would wait at least 8months to a year befor adding an anenome. know that when you do add the BTA he may wander.

BTA's aren't a natural host for perc's (false or true), so there's a chance they might not host it. I have a BTA and a mixed perc pair. and they aren't remotely interested in the BTA.
