Sorry that this question is so pedestrian compared to the other more exciting ones but . . . can you tell me a bit about these additives? What dosing level (320 gallon SPS tank). Are these different than others on the market? How much do they cost and how quickly can one get them? Thanks!

Good question. There are few different products in each of the two categories you mentioned. In general, we like to have a couple of choices for additives depending on your need/ experience. In the case of Ca we have , Expert line Extra Calcium, combi Ca in monovials and prima Ca 01 and prima combi Ca 05. For Magnesium we have Expert line Extra Calcium, prima line Combi Mg 04 and there is also low levels in our Prima 01. Prima 01 and 03 would make up our two part solution and the 04(combi mg) and 05(combi Ca) are periodic use chelated forms, with 03 being trace elements. For larger corrections you would use expert line Ca and Mg. Our Ca contains pharmaceutical grade Ca compund with a bottle of Calcium fix® to help with absorption of the Ca in a lab dropper. With expert Mg, again you have pharmaceutical grade Mg compounds not simply mg chloride. Both come in a dark glass bottle, instructions, and a measuring cup and scoop/stirrer. With the Prima they come in a bottle with a measuring cap and the exact amount of Mg, Ca you are adding in milligrams. All of this is in stock and available and let me know if you have any other questions. For your size tank you would probably be best served using a combination of the less expensive prima 04 and 05 and only using expert Ca and Mg occasionally. I have "shop use" sizes for the prima. The prima 04, 05 in 500ml is 23.50 but you could probably use the 3lt. bottles. A lot depends on the way your tank is stocked so give me a call and I will get the calculator out and see if it is a fit. Thanks.

Thanks, I will call you on Friday. In general, I would prefer something that I can use with a computerized dosing system. What time zone are you?
