Removing large glass center braces need advice.

I have to remove the center braces on a 400G glass tank. You can see why in this image. Just not going to work. I plan on re-bracing the tank, just not with these braces.

I can get most of it with a razor blade but it seems as if they really squished down the silicone in some areas to the point a razor won't fit.

Before I loose a finger on all this sharp glass and razor blades or crack the tank I need some advice.

I don't have a heat gun but can get one if I have too. My only concern is its not going to be enough.

Thinner razor blades?
Chemicals?
Magic?
A rock?
