So I am starting a smaller 10g nano tank for fun, trying to be cheap as possible. My 29g has all the works on it already.
Anyways I have a 65/55 watt ballast sitting around that I would like to use on the 10g. The thing is I want to use shorter bulbs which use less wattage. I would like to use 2 x 32 watt PC bulbs.
Since the two bulbs are 32 watts each - totaling to 64 watts, would it be ok to run it like this? How would the wiring be done? Do I simple just split the main wires coming off the ballast to 2 bulb endcaps (1 for each bulb)?
