I'm curious if you guys leave your corals on the plugs they come in on and eventually they multiply to the point where they completely cover the plug and surrounding areas? Or do you guys remove them from plugs and attach them to your own rock?

Could someone do me a huge favor and link me from the HomeDepot or Lowe's site the exact glues/putty you use? I've tried the putty from 2 LFS and neither worked. The superglue I got only lasts about a week and the corals just float off it (zoas and softy's mostly).

For those of you who prefer plugs, do you make your own? How? The LFS wants $10 for about 5 but they look simple enough to make, I just dont know how.

The type of epoxy you want is "Aqua Mend". To attach corals with epoxy you also need gel type super glue.

Put super glue on the frag plug, then epoxy and finally more super glue. Then press all this against your live rock and hold it for a min or so. It should now be firmly attached.
