has anyone kept a foxface in a reef tank. I have 125 gallon tank and was given this fish but my tank will eventually be a tank with corals of all sorts. Thanks

they are safe, as long as they are kept fed. otherwise they may pick at some corals, but alot of ppl have had good luck with them

They are great fish, but require often feedings of seaweed etc just like tangs.

I think you can even give them fresh vegetables. They will eat a lot more algae than tangs do, and are reef safe. Some nuisance algaes that tangs won't eat, the foxface may.

i agree, way more aggresive feeder than a tang. they can wipe out a bad case of hair algea or unwanted culuerpa in a week! I didnt really want one but needed one due to hair algea and actually love mine now!
