reached my hand into my nano tank after washing them with antibacterial soap. I wasnt thinking. About 45 min. after washing my hands with anibacterial soap I rinsed my hands as usual and moved some things around. After I relalised my hand still smelled strongly of the soap. I hope it doesnt affect anything?

carbon is best advice. the issue is the small tank. do a water change asap it should be easy ojn a nano and or use carbon. should be okay if you run carbon but id do a small change also just to feel safe.

i went and grabbed 9 gallons of seawater today and did a large water change. My parameters were off anyway. Large nitrate readings, PH suddenly went from 8.3 to 7.8 in a week. Ive been adding bi-carbonate-carbonate mixture with calcium chloride (about 1.5ml) every other day but dont have an ALK or Ca test kit yet. My temps have gone way up over the course of a couple of weeks due to high outside temps now. Tank used to run 76-78. Now it runs 78-83. Might be the reason for the PH swing. My tank is outside.
