What's the deal with these skimmers? I could have paddled my jon boat to Italy and bought one by now............... Just kidding, but I am curious as to when the will be available.

I talked to Ed today and he said my skimmer should be sent out at the end of next week or latest early the following week.

He says that they have already arrived at the warehouse, but because the size and shape is different, ReefGeek ordered new packaging materials just for this skimmer to protect against shipping damage. Also, ReefGeek is moving into a new warehouse so they really can't do anything with packaging or shipping out the BM160s until end of next week or early the following week. This is the story I got from Ed, hopefully it's the last delay and then we have it in hand.

The guys at reefgeek or great and provide great service. That said it was no secret what size the skimmer and lights would be you think they could have already been working on the packaging.

it would just be nice if someone who worked at reef geek would actually post what the hell exactly is going on, i almost dont even want one of these skimmers any more at this point...
which is pretty harsh considering i sell them and love them.
but it doesnt matter how cool something is if you can never get a straight answer from the manufacturer or imorter...
next time dont say a damn word about anything new and just suprise us when you actually get the units in your hot little hands, PLEASE!!!!!!
telling people they will be here in a week or 2 for sever months tends to discourage customers and stores alike, not very professional...

kt, i couldn't agree with you more. i've seen broken promises after broken promises with oliver at ati. i just hope that i won't be disappointed with my bm160 finally gets to me.
