Downsizing to only one tank

Hello everyone,

I am downsizing to just one tank and have a few questions. I am tearing down my 90 gallon reef and was wondering if i can add the livestock to my 240 gallon. In the 90 i have the following.

2 x Clarki Clowns
1 x Royal Gramma
1 x lawnmower Blenny
and some Damsels.

In the 240 gallon i have the following.
1 x Black Hawain Trigger
1 x Niger Tirgger
1 x Sailfin Tang
1 x Blue Hamlet
1 x Goldentail eel

Will the triggers go after the fish from the reef tank? I know the rest will be fine but not sure with the triggers. I may also add a few corals to the tank, any problems with the this?

You "shouldn't" have any problems with your triggers, but it'd be a good idea to put them in the 240 at night. I've got a handful of little reef fish in with some brutes, and no issues. I did lose a nice orchid dottyback; it was tiny/slender and I think my Hummu thought it was a live treat.

well im sure you saw my post about a week ago if triggers would get along with dwarf angels.well 1person posted that he wasnt sure but thought i might have issues only cause there were dwarf angels not the bigger angels.well sure enuff either a trigger or a few triggers pretty much wiped out 4 of my angels in 1 day while i was at work.im pretty sure it was the clown trigger but didnt see him.the trigger consists of clown,picasso,blue chin,and the niger.

i had a flame angel with a niger trigger and humu trigger at one point, no aggression with them.

Are there any problems with adding corals with the triggers? I want to make sure they don't snack on them.

i have many corals with my humu trigger and had many with old niger trigger. they never touched them; but ive had 2 clown triggers and 1 of them ate zoanthids

With the two triggers you have; coral should be left alone, but again you never know. I had a massive colt coral that was untouched for about 18months. One night me and the wife were watching a movie, and I mentioned how large the coral was getting. Shortly after the words came out've my mouth; my Hummu grabbed it and while violently shaking it's head started swimming backwards in attemp to rip it off the LR. He was unsuccessful, but the next day I found it shriveled up on the sandbed. Personally, I don't think it's worth the risk.

Yeah, he never paid any mind and sometimes swam through the branches. When I witnessed the coral carnage he was well on his way swimming by it. Suddently stopped and started ripping on the thing.
