How thick should the plexiglass be for dividing a 29 gallon sump?

Thick enough to hold water on one side of it. :)

Depends on the height difference between the water on the high side and the low side. And the flow might be a consideration as well if it's REALLY high. But 1/4" should do for about any application. If the water levels are within 2-3" you may even be able to get away with 1/8".

I used 1/4", worked great.
