lol no kidding altpersona! yeah, G platysoma. do you already have one on hold? or jusy hoping to run into one? if its the latter, don't get your hopes up. pretty rare as far as mantids go. here's some basic info...

For a 40g i would go with a large peacock or an L.Mac for sure. The smaller dudes will get lost in there.

i have an 8gal. only things i don't like about it is the fact that condensed water drips out the back when yuo open the tank. the same problem applies to the larger versions too i hear. I also did the standard mods to it like take out the bioballs, replace with rubble, remove crappy stock filter pad, add carbon.

in a 29gal, ou might as well get a peacock. it should not be able to crack teh glass but i would line them bottom with strips of acrylic just in case.

biocube or aquapod... the only thing i like about the aquapod is that it has the lamp hood. i dont like the idea of takin the top part off to clean and feed.. does the biocube have this option like the aquapod does?

the biocube has a little flip up door on the fron of the hood. you can feed through this opening using a feeding stick. plus the entire hood flips up for whenever you do maintenance.
