got this today but not sure exactly what it is, trying to find out cause when I picked it out it was only about two inches long and now it looks like it's soaking up water and growing!

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is it ok to have it next to my sps?

It has doubled in size again since I put it in the tank yesterday.....pictures shows double the size of what I bought and now its twice that size again.

Its ok, but they are known to stave to death in captivity.

it's not a carnation, it's a chili coral.

hehe, Chris, that would solve the feeding issue. ;)

Kidding aside, looks like a yellow polyp chili coral to me too.
