Need recomendation on filtration system for 46 Gal bow front .
The tank is a reef setup. with no room for a sump.

1.5- 2lbs of LR per gal. is all the filtration you need.

I am new to this what does that mean?

In a reef system, the live rock and live sand is the filter. These items are porous enough to support much more beneficial filtering bacteria than what you will get with alternative filters, such as canisters, HOB's, and whatnot. The recommended minimum amount of live rock is about 1.5lbs per gallon, I prefer upwards of 2lbs of rock per gallon. So, rock/sand/current = filtration.
