I just ordered my new closed loop system for my future 120. Via Oceans Motions......Reeflo Snapper pump and a 4-way return. Can't wait to get it going...will keep posted on set up and pictures to follow. Woohoo

Below is a link to Oceans Motions forum, I borrowed a link to the idea I plan to use to set my 120. It will be smilar but with a little different set up....basic idea though.

That will be very cool. With these systems, is it possible to vary intensity or timing without replacing the barrels? Nate asked me that the other day and I didn't know the answer.

Yes you can change intensity with different drums or you can even split the four returns to ad more returns to spread out the flow...imagination is the only limiting factor. :)As well as using a vaulve on the pump, According to Paul at OM, putting back pressure on the pump does not inhibit its performance or cause any drag on the pump.

Still looking for a 120....tank only.....I know Marksreef has one on URS, but I want to build my own stand and canopy...but the price is tempting.

I'm really set on a 120....due to the dimensions and space requirements....but thanks.

OK so I got this new tank....Just order a bunch of new plumbing for the closed loop, drains and return.... ( you don't even want to know the $$$ I spent on that!) I'will be starting on the new tank this weekend....I will do my best to keep a photo journal of everything I do....mainly for me, but it may also help someone in the future. Feel free to throw out ideas....I'm not too proud to steel good ideas :). First thing is to clean out the tank and then drill some holes....Keep you all posted.
