How critical is the water level to the performance of these units? I add about 1 gallon per day to my system. My current skimmer seems to freak out when the water level changes. This being an internal skimmer will this play havoc with the performance?

Also, are there plans for an external models of the Bubble Masters?

Thanks!

The ideal water level is 6-8" and it is important to keep the water level constant as fluctuations in the water level will have an impact on skimmer performance. The skimmer shouldn't "freak Out" when the water level changes but lower the water level will cause the water level inside the skimmer to drop slightly thereby producing a dry skimmate.

External models of the Bubble Master are in development, but no release date has been set as of yet.
