Got this piece of Florida aquacultured live-rock at a lfs and we have this anemone.

In some ways it looks like Aiptasia images we've seen, but definitely not 100% match for any we've found.

So, what is it?

Shouldn't be hard to get rid of, it's in a little 20 gl and on a small rock.

I greatly appreciate everyone's help! :) And well, this is going to shock you but I'm NOT an expert photographer  :D

Doesn't look like Aiptasia to me.

Appears to be one of the many varieties of rock anemones.

A better pic would help! ;)

Well we moved the rock a bit, and of course "she's" unsettled and won't really open well.

But here's a few more shots. Better ones should be possible tomorrow! I hope to be more awake and we have her rock moved up closer to the light. Go into the light, go into the light . . .

The best way to get rid of it with out removing the rock from the tank is to inject it with kalkwasser (limewater) or if you don't have any, part two of B-Ionic (calcium) will work also by injection.
