I realize everyone's tank parameters are all different, but I'm kind of curious what people's results, positive or negative, have been when switching to one (Or more) of these salt mixes. Any sudden unexplained outbreak of cyano, diatoms, dinos, or algae after the change? Any negative repercussions with corals, fish, or other organisms? Curious...

Oh, I realize that. I'm just looking, primarily, for cases where people received "almost immediate" bad news via negative things happening in their tanks within a week to two weeks.

Find one that you like and stick to it. Consistency is more important than a particular brand. All the Major Brands will be a little different and al just fine.

I personally like Tropic Marin Pro.
However, I've tried Reef Crystals. Good stuff.
Personally, I use Tropic Marin Pro as my LFS carries it and the price is competitive to online websites. They don't sell Reef Crystals.
I would agree with Glass Oceans... stick to a brand. If you want to try different salts, try using like a 75/25, 50/50, 25/75 mix... transition off of it.

I don't have exact numbers, but when I set up my tank (200g) using Reef crystals, my calc was about 380, alk around 9, and mag was over 1600ppm!!! I have not yet done a large water change (2 months or so), and my mag is still right around 1600, though I added a very small amound of tropic marin magnesium supplement at one point.
One thing i've noticed with Reef Crystals is that the buffering capacity seems to be great. I have not seen any significant pH or Alk swings since I started the tank. For the past 3 weeks I've had a Schuran Jetstream reactor going so my numbers now are based on that and probably wouldn't help answer your question.
