zebra lion with cloudy eye

I have 50 gal tank with about 3 other fish in it. I notice my zebra lionfish has a cloudy eye. I don't know what it means. please help!!!

Could be from an abrasion. Could be bacterial. Post your water parameters. Sometimes a couple of good water changes can clear this up. Was the fish netted recently? Is the eye just cloudy or is there any protrusion?

well my water level is good and all the nitrate and nitrite measurements are good. the fish was never netted. I will try the water change and see how it goes. if it is a bacteria, what would it be and how would I cure it. thanks for the help.

You can use a variety of antibiotics. Maracyn Two (not Maracyn) is effective. Nitrofurazone, pacakaged as Furacyn T works well too.
