As stated in the title I have a 10gal. w/ Zoa's in it and some Aiptasia that keep poping up. Their not bad but they just keep reappering. I've mixed up some kalk paste and killed four (at different times). They just keep poping up. I'm wondering if there is another method I can use. Since I have a small tank a CBB is out. With my Zoa's a pep. shrimp is out. So...where does that leave me for options? I'm figuring I'll just have to keep on w/ the kalk paste but I figured I would post to see if there was another method I hadn't heard about. TIA.

I had a peppermint that didn't bother the zoas. But without direct feeding their survival in a 10 gallon is iffy at best. Unless you have a huge infestation shooting them with kalk every couple of days is your best option.

My peppermints do not bother my zoanthids what so ever. They do control my aiptasia. I used to have some but dont see them anymore. You can spot feed the shrimp a piece of krill twice a week.

You may just talk me into a pepermint afterall. I'll probably end up getting the one that likes Zoo's.

I have kept up to 6 peppermints with over 500 zoo's never a problem.

I agree, my peppermints have never messed with my zoas.

Well, if I get a chance I will pick one up from my LFS today. Thanks for all the encouragement.
