Does anyone know what kind of Coral this is? My brother just gave it to me from his tank, and i'm trying to research it on-line but can't seem to find out what it is???
Thanks in advance

Thank you for the info.
where should i be placing this Green Star polyp in my tank? As you can see i have it on my substrate in my tank next to some live rock. Any suggestions?
Thanks

It easily has the potential to take over your tank. So you can move it away from the rock and let it stay on the rock island you have. Or if you really like it by all means leave it next to the rock.
But it will grow in almost all conditions.
One of my friends got a frag from me and while he was on vacation his power head broke and the tank temp rose to 90 degrees and it survived that for three days. So it will thrive pretty much anywhere you put it.

They like high flow and do great in nice bright light, no need to shade those guys. I would attach them to a cool shaped piece of Tonga branch. They'll encrust over it and look really sweet.
