There was a thread in DIY that used a clear water filter housing as the reactor. Was cheap and trick. But is was a DIY...

there have been many reactors with built in pumps that tend to fail.
but for $50 its worth a shot i think. the regulator and bottle is what sets you back with buying a reactor if you ask me.

i DIY'd my own twin chamber for my 90...cost me about $50 for a twin chamber 4" reactor similar to MRC/MR2

the reg and tank was about $150 new. plus the controller another $150.....

a reactor on a nano is cool if you have a high enough demand but other wise i think that adding liquid is easier.

ever thought about peristalic pumps and the liquid ca to dose your tank? maybe easier and cheaper for a nano.

twice a week 10% water changes is working for me. I don't dose anything. Thats $1.98 a week for 5g of NSW.

i'm agreeing with the water changes. just because of ease and then dosing. a CA reactor is getting serious on a nano.
