what cable do i need to buy t go to my computer? HP, few years old.

it looks like i can graph my ph and temp on the comp with this set up correct? if i don't get the serial port, what can i not do? Will it stop me from getting software updates or anything like that? thanks for helping

To hook it up to your PC you need part # SERPC9 (serial cable). Yes, you will be able to graph, configure the controller, etc. through your PC.
If you get the Jr. without the serial port you will not be able use AquaNotes on your PC to graph, configure, etc. the controller.
Even the Jr. without a serial port can have it's firmware updated via a special serial cable (SERPCJR), which connects to the Jrs. temperature connector & your PC's serial port.
