Is this only me?

When I take photos and there is pure white, it flashes black and white. Am I the only one or is this a feature?

I'm not entirely sure what you're talking about but if it's the LCD on your camera it's likely that the camera is set to show overexposed highlights.

Mine does the same also. If i move right and left on the D-pad it changes to other modes. Its as already said showing you over exposed areas.

Sorry, I was in a rush to write that post...I'll explain in more detail. When I take a picture that has bright white, on the LCD screen the bright white parts flash black and then white. I'm not sure if it's showing me transparent parts or it the screen is damaged and cannot display bright shades of white.

It can be turned on or off if it is annoying you. It's a handy feature actually.
