Just added my two seahorses Friday; one male & one female Reidi.
Water perameters are good, temp is good.
Have noticed female snapping around & foraging, but she's not eating anything I can see unless it's amphipods from sand or rock.
I've been feeding frozen mysis twice a day soaked in garlic & selcon. Also tried w/o garlic & selcon today & last night.
She's a bit smaller than the male, so could it be that the mysis are too big?? LFS said they were both eating frozen mysis before they were shipped from supplier on Thursday.
Also, the male has been eating everything in sight since Friday.
LFS person said females sometimes take a few days to really start eating.
??????
Should I worry yet, or what?

its still early, i know my female (i got mine from draco) took almost a week to eat and hunt just like the male was (male did after 2 days). Chances are she is eating you just dont notice it, when she snickers shes probably getting parts of the mysis.

What is "good" parameters and "good" temps "good" is a relative term, real numbers are the only "good" way to give information.

GOod luck!

Have you tried baby brine shrimp?

chances are IF they were eating frozen mysis they'll not even recognize bbs, i know my guys just look past it as i feed my other fish. What method are you using to feed (target, feeding station...) is she moving around?

Tried feeding w/a baster & feeding different foods. Just tried "smashing or tearing" the mysis so some pieces were smaller & looks like she's now eating!!!
Thanks for everyone's help & advise
