It Finally Happened!

Well after around one year, it finally happened today....

My True Percula Hosted :D

I have had him for a year or so and purchased a Green BTA shortly after buying him hoping he might like it... but no luck until today.

My GBTA started moving (second time in a year. Last time he split then went back to "his spot") for no apparent reason. He had moved over to the corner where my clown loves to hang out for the past few days, but still the clown showed no interest.

Then today as I did a water change and took the lights off... WHAT DO YOU KNOW! HE's HOSTING!!

I hope they continue to stay together.

thats one of the best feelings. when i got my 1st clown anemoney pair i thought they would host immediatly, and when they didnt i was shocked, it took about 2mts and it just happend, one of the coolest things ive ever seen. this is one of the bonuses of a marine aquarium, freshwater has nothing like it.

Good for you! I wish I could get an anemone for my little guy. He looks "lost" hosting the magfloat.

I added some pics as to not be such a looser! Useless no pic thread...LOL!

He was actively feeding the anenome today. I added some bigger chunks of krill an watched him drag it over and spit it in.... NEATO!!

I had a maroon that would not go near any of my 3 anemones for about 4 months until he finally picked out the small bubble-tip (a lot like this pic).

It is great to see a clown in where he belongs........

MTB, you're right, they do look lost with a host anemone!!!
