cool, is this color pattern pretty common for an echinata? I've seen the rainbow pattern but not with the baby blue centers.

Nice echinata. IMO it is difficult to say regarding the colors. The new growth on mine exhibits more orange, and the eyes have turned more purple. I have also purchased greenish ones that have turned pure orange with green eyes. It is a beautiful piece, and it will be nice to see how it turns out in your tank. HTH

To me it is a common color morph, but still an impressive coral none the less. Nice pick up... Here is a picture of my orange crush acan echinata colony but to some it is considered a common color morph as well...

Here is another one of mine. The white color has purpled up more but the intense green still remains...

Those look nice. I can't wait to see if mine will morph at all. How long will that take if it does?

ianiwane under the right light I am sure yours will change up a bit but it wont turn to that bright orange of the orange crush.
